Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP, especially in high school or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with language-based programs and related intervention strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to craft and maintain effective IEPs and progress documentation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to high school students in a language-based program
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct screenings and evaluations as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, working closely with teachers, counselors, and families
- Keep accurate, timely records of services provided and student progress
- Provide staff consultation and recommendations for classroom strategies
