School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Bristol, Vermont

Two contract positions are open: a full-time maternity leave coverage (August 19, 2026 – October 31, 2026) and a part-time role (August 19, 2026 – July 14, 2027).
These positions serve students across multiple grade levels, focusing exclusively on direct and indirect speech-language services within contracted hours. There are no additional duties such as bus or parent pickup responsibilities, allowing you to dedicate your energy to client-centered care. Travel therapists are eligible for stipends, and guaranteed weekly hours provide stability throughout the assignment.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Active or eligibility for SLP – CCC or SLP – CFY credentials
- Experience and comfort working with K-12th grade populations
- Familiarity with school-based SLP services, including assessments, intervention, and collaboration
- Strong communication and organization skills to manage caseload documentation and IEP participation efficiently
- Dedication to supporting a diverse student group and fostering inclusive learning environments
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Conducting thorough assessments and developing goal-oriented treatment plans
- Supporting teachers, staff, and families with strategies and resources to maximize student success
- Maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
