Speech Language Pathologist in Bristol, CT

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention in a K-12 setting
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Flexibility to serve multiple campuses within the district
- Enthusiasm for supporting students of varied backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred by staff or families
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
- Engage families in their child’s progress and provide resources as needed
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student teams
This is a fulfilling, full-time, Monday through Friday position (35-37.5 hours/week), running from August 2026 through June 2027.
