Each role provides a chance to work alongside dedicated educators and families, ensuring students develop essential language and speech skills for academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Connecticut SLP-CCC license required
- Previous experience in K-8 or school-based SLP services preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment and therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Proficient in report writing and IEP documentation
- Flexibility working with diverse age groups and needs
Position Details:
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create and implement speech/language therapy plans
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings
- Provide direct individual and group therapy sessions for students with identified needs
- Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
