Speech Language Pathologist in Brighton, CO
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students at the high school level by serving in key schools near the Brighton, CO area for the upcoming academic year. This position spans from early August through late May and is designed for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists who are ready to make a meaningful impact in an onsite setting.
This role offers a part-time schedule (0.6 FTE, approximately 24 hours per week) with days and hours to be coordinated collaboratively with campus leadership. You will work directly at Centaurus and Justice High Schools, providing essential speech and language services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possession (or in process) of a valid CDE license (applications without this documentation will not be reviewed)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Minimum of one year of direct classroom experience in a school setting
- Demonstrated expertise working with adolescents in educational environments
- SLPA credentials will not be considered for this opportunity
- Commitment to providing onsite services only
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and therapeutic support for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and school administrators to tailor individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Empower students through evidence-based practices, focusing on achieving academic and personal goals
- Foster family and community engagement to support comprehensive care
