Qualifications:
- Current State-specific Educator Teacher Certification (Special Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology required)
- Valid CCC-SLP; only therapists with their Certificate of Clinical Competence considered
- Experience in schools (K-8 setting)
- Minimum of one full year of professional SLP experience; new graduates are not eligible
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in grades K-8
- Support a caseload of 50-60 students (potential to increase through the year)
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Cover a maternity leave for the remainder of the school year
