Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington SLP license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate
- Fingerprinting clearance through OSPI
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Availability for in-person services
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on communication skills and language development
- Deliver therapy sessions, both individual and group, tailored to diverse student needs in elementary or high school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success and meet educational goals
- Document progress, maintain compliant records, and participate in required meetings
- Educate and support staff and parents in strategies for improving student communication in the classroom
