School Speech Therapist - Clinton, Mississippi

In this role, you’ll work on-site at a single school location, supporting a small caseload of students (four or more) through weekly or bi-weekly speech therapy sessions during regular school hours. You’ll play a crucial part in facilitating comprehensive evaluations for student intakes as well as assisting with reporting and participating in parent meetings throughout the school year. At the end of each academic year, your expertise will ensure thorough completion of evaluations and reports to help guide student progress and ongoing support.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as required for practice in schools
- Prior experience delivering school-based speech therapy services preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage documentation, evaluations, and parent communications efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech therapy to a caseload of four or more students
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions during school days
- Collaborate on intake assessments, comprehensive evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Participate in reporting, documentation, and parent meetings
- Support at end-of-year evaluations and report compilation
This assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 19, 2026, offering a consistent part-time schedule of two to three full workdays per week (8 hours each day).
