What you’ll bring:
- Valid Florida SLP License (ASHA CCC or Clinical Fellow applicants welcomed)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering individualized speech/language therapy
- Excellent communication skills for working with children, families, and educational teams
- Strong organizational abilities for managing documentation and service schedules
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Key responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative speech-language services for elementary-age students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals as part of each student’s IEP team
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain detailed, timely records of services, progress, and required documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development as needed
- Travel to a single campus location for daily therapy services
Details to note:
- Assignment runs August 10, 2026 through May 28, 2027, covering the entire school year
- You’ll be assigned to one elementary school with a full-time schedule
- Prescreen interviews are conducted as part of our eligibility process
- On-site services are preferred for this role
