**Speech-Language Pathologist | 35 Hours/Week | Bradenton, FL**
A great school district in the Bradenton, Florida area is now looking to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026โ2027 school year. This is a full-time, onsite school-based contract position offering approximately 35 hours per week through May 27, 2027.
The SLP will support students at Buffalo Creek Middle School and/or Prine Elementary School. Both campuses offer established special education programs and the opportunity to work alongside supportive school staff and other speech-language professionals.

ยท Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and direct therapy services for students.
ยท Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
ยท Provide individual, group, and consultative speech-language services.
ยท Support students with articulation, language, communication, behavioral, developmental, and related needs.
ยท Develop appropriate IEP goals and monitor student progress.
ยท Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with members of the educational team.
ยท Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress reports, and student records.
ยท Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, SLPAs, and other school-based professionals.
๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ:
ยท Previous school-based or pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred.
ยท Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students is preferred.
ยท Experience supporting students with autism, intensive needs, behavioral needs, and cognitive disabilities is a plus.
ยท Candidates should be comfortable providing both direct and consultative speech-language services.

ยท **Buffalo Creek Middle School:** Approximately 50 students receiving direct therapy, with an additional 10 students receiving consultative services.
ยท Buffalo Creek includes two low-cognitive units and one behavioral unit.
ยท A four-day-per-week schedule may be possible at Buffalo Creek.
ยท **Prine Elementary School:** The speech team supports approximately 95 students across therapists at the start of the assignment.
ยท Prine has an experienced full-time SLP as well as a part-time SLPA already providing support.
ยท Student programs at Prine include two intensive Pre-K classes, two ASD classes, two integrated Pre-K classes, one ESE Pre-K class, and two low-cognitive classes.
