We are seeking two dynamic Speech-Language Pathologists for a full-time contract position, serving students at Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary in vibrant Bradenton, FL. You’ll join a collaborative school environment, supporting students across a range of developmental and behavioral needs in both established and thriving teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida SLP license (CCC or CFY)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong organizational skills to balance direct therapy and consultative services
- Team player who communicates effectively with colleagues, students, and families
- Compassion and adaptability to support diverse learners, including low cognitive and ASD populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver around 35 hours per week of on-site services in two supportive educational settings
- Provide direct speech therapy to a varied caseload, including approximately 50 students at Buffalo Creek (grades 6-8) and up to 95 students at Prine Elementary (early learners through ESE)
- Collaborate closely with a seasoned SLP and part-time SLPA at Prine to ensure coordinated support
- Serve both direct therapy and consultation students, tailoring interventions to individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Document progress, support IEP development, and engage with multidisciplinary teams
