You’ll primarily provide service delivery and evaluations while collaborating with on-site SLPs assigned to higher-needs elementary and moderate/severe caseloads. This district values long-term partnerships—renewals are common and extended school year (ESY) opportunities are typically available, allowing you to build lasting connections and see measurable progress.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold SLP licensure in Pennsylvania (or eligibility for licensure)
- Either Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) accepted; note, limited CFY positions are available
- Experience in school settings, with comfort handling a diverse caseload preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to various service models and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Provide therapy to students according to their IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Deliver services both individually and in group settings
- Option to focus solely on evaluations if preferred
