Skills & Experience Sought:
- Active license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings (K-12)
- Ability to design and implement speech and language therapy plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Proficient in conducting assessments, writing IEPs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with SLP best practices in an educational context
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions for students identified with communication challenges
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
- Provide consultation and guidance to classroom teachers for implementing strategies
