Speech Language Pathologist in Boulder, CO
Embrace a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in the Boulder, CO area. Two positions are available for dedicated SLP-CCC professionals passionate about making a difference in diverse school environments.
Position #1 offers an extended leave-of-absence assignment from August through late May (24 hours/week, high school setting), while Position #2 features a one-year placement in elementary schools (32 hours/week, also August to May). Scheduling is flexible and will be coordinated with school leadership to best support program needs.
Qualifications:
- Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SLP license (resumes must include copy of CDE or COOL; candidates without these will not be reviewed)
- Minimum one year of classroom-based SLP experience required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA CCC credentials
- SLPA candidates not accepted for these roles
- Proven ability to collaborate with educators, service teams, and families to achieve IEP goals
- Strong communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy for students in accordance with IEPs and district policies
- Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Offer consultative support and effective communication to teachers and families
Onsite at assigned schools, you’ll play a critical role in advancing student communication skills and supporting positive learning outcomes.
