Desired skills and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged clients
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative educational team
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Provide direct therapy services and document ongoing student progress
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support academic success
- Develop IEP goals and participate in meetings as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely clinical records
- Adapt therapy approaches to engage diverse learners and meet each child’s unique needs
