A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-8 school setting located in Brookline, MA. This contract role requires managing a caseload that spans from kindergarten through 8th grade, providing essential speech and language support to students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Massachusetts DESE license and SLP license
- Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapy for a diverse K-8 student population
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Utilize AAC devices effectively to enhance communication for non-verbal or minimally verbal students
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with DESE requirements
Location: Brookline, Massachusetts
