Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Los Lunas, NM
Provide speech-language services in a K-12 school setting with a focus on elementary students in the Los Lunas, NM area. This contract position runs from November 2025 through May 2026 and offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to a caseload of 40-45 students, primarily in elementary grade levels.
- Serve students across 2-3 school sites within the district.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state SLP license and certifications appropriate for school-based practice.
- Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a K-12 educational environment.
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload across multiple sites effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, families, and staff.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
