Speech and Language Pathologist in Bonaire, GA
A temporary opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time coverage for a maternity leave in a K-12 educational setting in Bonaire, GA. This contract position will begin in mid-February and last approximately six weeks. The workload is nearly full-time, around 37.5 hours per week, primarily focusing on high school students with some elementary-level responsibilities.
This role is currently being conducted virtually, creating a flexible environment that allows for seamless handover to another virtual professional if needed. The ability to deliver services online is ideal for candidates who are experienced and comfortable with teletherapy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations for students across high school and some elementary grades.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Delivering virtual therapy sessions to support student communication needs.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school policies.
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
