A temporary opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding CCC certification, to provide full-time maternity leave coverage in a school setting. This contract role is based out of Milledgeville, GA, and offers primarily virtual service delivery, making it well-suited for professionals experienced with remote therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to high school students, with some work involving elementary-aged children
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to support student development
- Deliver services primarily through virtual platforms, ensuring engagement and effectiveness in an online environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with school-aged populations, including high school and elementary students
- Proficiency in telepractice models and virtual therapy delivery
