This maternity coverage runs from August 17, 2026, to November 9, 2026, serving a resource-level caseload at a welcoming elementary school setting. The role is exclusively onsite, providing you with daily opportunities to collaborate with dedicated faculty and engage directly with students.
The full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:40pm, allowing for consistent work-life balance while making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current, valid SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience in school-based settings, especially elementary, is a plus
- Knowledge of IEP procedures, progress monitoring, and individualized therapy
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Organized, proactive, and committed to high-quality student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, resource level
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, and families to support student growth
- Complete student evaluations, data collection, and progress documentation
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
