Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure appropriate for schools
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Ability to assess and address a variety of speech and language needs across diverse student backgrounds
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in preschool through sixth grade
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and multidisciplinary case discussions
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
