Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP licensure in the state of Nevada (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Previous experience working in K-12 school environments preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Adaptability to diverse caseloads and varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of holistic educational strategies
- Educate staff and families about speech and language development and intervention techniques
