Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current, valid Alabama license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and collaborate with educators, families, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide both direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students, encompassing a variety of needs and backgrounds
- Manage a caseload by developing individualized therapy plans, conducting assessments, and facilitating IEP meetings
- Track progress meticulously, documenting outcomes and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Participate in regular team meetings, contributing insight and recommendations to enhance student outcomes
- Offer consultative support for teachers and families to ensure students receive consistent and effective interventions
