Desired Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current California CTC credential required
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Strong understanding of middle school student needs and IEP processes
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to middle school students, addressing a wide range of communication needs
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to determine intervention needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with each student’s IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with faculty, special education staff, and families to foster student progress
- Maintain detailed records, documentation, and progress monitoring in compliance with district and state regulations
- Offer educational guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language development
