Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA CCC certification preferred
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create and implement IEPs for students of varying abilities
- Comfortable working both independently and with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student progress
- Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or modifications
- Offer direct and consultative services for students with a range of communication challenges
