Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Washington State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply
- Background or training in pediatric populations
- Prior experience in school settings is desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in need
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, families, and related service providers
- Monitor and report student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and staff consultations
