A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide MAT leave coverage from March 23 through the end of the school year. The position is based in Papillion, NE, supporting K-6th grade students in a school setting with a caseload size of 48 students. This role includes acting as the case manager for 14 students and requires experience with AAC devices, which is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to a diverse caseload of K-6th grade students
- Manage caseload effectively, including administrative tasks and case management for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress
- Utilize AAC devices and implement communication strategies to meet student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state policies
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Nebraska
- Master's degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-6 populations
- Familiarity with AAC devices and assistive technology preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
