Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Nebraska state license in Speech Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Dedication to fostering a supportive environment for students of varying backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Provide both direct and consultative speech/language therapy in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines
- Document progress and maintain detailed records using district systems
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams
- Educate and engage families, teachers, and staff regarding strategies for successful student outcomes
