As a valued Speech Language Pathologist (CCC), you will join a dedicated interdisciplinary team focused on providing exceptional services in school-based settings. Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland professional licensure in Speech Language Pathology (CCC required)
- Willingness to provide images of current professional licenses for compliance
- Completion of district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review (House Bill 486 requirements)
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students, supporting IEP implementation and progress
- Assess students using formal and informal tools, analyze results, and contribute to comprehensive evaluation reports
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to students’ individual needs and academic goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, collaborating closely with educators, families, and other service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation, session notes, and progress reporting in accordance with district and legal standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in the field
This on-site role ensures you’ll have the resources and support needed to foster student success. The typical work week is 37.5 hours, following the school schedule from fall through late spring.
