Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Bel Air, Maryland

This contract opportunity, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 2026, is located near Bel Air, MD. What we’re looking for:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure for Maryland
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), SLP–CFY welcome to apply
- Prior experience with school-based or pediatric caseloads highly desirable
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students, families, and staff
- Effective time management to handle a diverse K-12 school population
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ethical standards
What you’ll do:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct and consultative services, adapting for remote or in-person environments
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with school and federal regulations
- Contribute to IEP meetings and support the educational needs of all assigned students
