Speech Language Pathologist in Beaver Falls, PA
Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a part-time onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting kindergarten through fourth grade learners in a vibrant elementary setting. This rewarding contract opportunity offers a steady schedule—and a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students—allowing you to build impactful relationships while providing direct services tailored to a diverse group of young students.
Your key responsibilities will include independently managing your assigned caseload as well as collaborating on shared students. You’ll work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to assess, develop, and deliver dynamic speech/language interventions. This role requires a commitment to working onsite and partnering with school staff to ensure ongoing student progress.
Ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications and experience:
- Hold active SLP licensure and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School-based experience, preferably with elementary populations
- Proficiency in assessing and treating a variety of communication disorders
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to organize, track, and report on student progress
- Passionate about supporting students’ educational and social growth
Duties include:
- Conducting evaluations and providing direct therapy services
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with other providers
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation
- Sharing insights with school staff and families as part of a student-centered team
This position offers a flexible part-time schedule (16 hours per week, 9:15am–3:30pm) that ends in late May—with the possibility of renewal for those who thrive in this setting.
