- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work with students at varying grade levels (elementary through high school)
- Knowledge of IEPs, progress monitoring, and related documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
- Maintain accurate case records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team evaluations
- Stay current with best practices and state regulations regarding school-based SLP services
