This position is scheduled for a full school year, beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026. Anticipate working approximately seven hours per day, five days a week. Travel between multiple school sites may be required based on the needs of your assigned caseload.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance
- Commitment to culturally responsive and evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students within assigned age groups
- Evaluate, diagnose, and document student progress through formal and informal assessments
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Travel between sites as needed to service caseload
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all confidentiality requirements
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
