Speech Language Pathologist in Ballston Spa, NY

Guided by a flexible, part-time schedule, you’ll engage with a diverse range of students in 30-minute sessions. Your caseload centers on building relationships over time, including providing focused support to a handful of students multiple times per week and facilitating group interactions to encourage peer communication. This balance of individualized and collaborative approaches offers a fulfilling variety to your clinical practice.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA CCCs highly preferred
- Previous experience with elementary students, ideally in a school or teletherapy setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
- Enthusiasm for working as an integral part of a student support team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective speech-language therapy via teletherapy
- Adapt services to meet the needs of both individual and group students
- Document progress and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with educational standards
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to optimize student outcomes
- Flexibly manage a caseload of approximately 11.5 direct service hours per month, along with planning and communication
