Elementary School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Ballston Spa, New York

You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide both assessment and therapeutic services, with a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP license for New York State, or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience in an elementary school setting is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary education team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students, individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, or communication needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals, track progress, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative educational planning
- Communicate regularly with families and school staff to support student growth
- Use evidence-based approaches tailored to school-aged children
