Qualifications:
- Possess or be eligible for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in New York
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Open to both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting, especially with elementary-age students, is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary school students with diverse needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate and timely progress documentation and IEP reports
- Participate in meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and engage families in the therapy process
