Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current NY SLP license in good standing
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- NYS TSHH or TSSLD – DOE certification required
- Previous experience providing services in a school setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to evidence-based practice
In this role, you will:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other allied professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain timely and detailed service records and compliance with all state and federal regulations
