Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in an educational setting, focusing on early childhood and elementary-aged students. Key Qualifications:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) endorsement
  • Valid Illinois SLP license
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood and elementary education
  • Ability to manage caseloads within itinerant models across multiple school sites

Location: Hanover Park, Illinois

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to bilingual students
  • Provide direct intervention services to students, incorporating culturally responsive strategies
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district regulations
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
