Key Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) endorsement
- Valid Illinois SLP license
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood and elementary education
- Ability to manage caseloads within itinerant models across multiple school sites
Location: Hanover Park, Illinois
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to bilingual students
- Provide direct intervention services to students, incorporating culturally responsive strategies
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
