Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CF)
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a must
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in diverse or multicultural environments
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and educational teams
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and work collaboratively with educators and specialists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy for students from a variety of backgrounds
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and progress
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Engage in professional development to remain current with best practices in bilingual and school-based SLP services
