Key Qualifications:
- Hold an IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement and a current IL SLP license
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially middle school, preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload averaging about 45 students, adhering to state guidelines
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to middle school students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports meeting all school and state requirements
- Support either one middle school site or work itinerantly between campuses as assigned
