Pediatric SLP in Naperville, IL
This contract position offers an opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized therapy services in a school setting located near Naperville, IL. The assignment runs from June 1 through June 29 and involves working within a contract framework designed to support student communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as assigned, utilizing best clinical practices.
- Serve in an itinerant capacity, traveling between schools within the district as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Participate in team meetings and complete required administrative duties.
- Support supervision requirements as applicable for clinical fellows (CFYs) or assistants.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in pediatric healthcare, school-based settings, or teletherapy modalities.
- Ability to manage caseloads and work efficiently within school district models.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work across multiple school sites within the district.
- Completion of any required background checks and credential verifications.
