Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work full-time, on-site, with reliable transportation for travel between assigned locations
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in managing caseloads across several schools
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct regular progress monitoring, providing timely updates and maintaining detailed documentation
- Support classroom teachers by offering resources and strategies for students’ language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences as required across assigned sites
- Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and state/federal requirements for school-based SLP support
