Step into a rewarding contract role supporting an elementary school's intensive preschool classroom serving young learners in need of expert speech-language services. This position focuses on a PreK caseload, working on-site with students who may have complex communication needs, including those who are non-verbal. Ideal candidates bring specialized experience and a passion for helping preschoolers reach important communication milestones. Both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Colorado SLP license required
  • Experience working with PreK students preferred
  • Background supporting non-verbal students considered a strong plus
  • Ability to start as soon as possible and work through the end of the school year (contract runs ASAP through 5/21/27)
  • Willingness to complete required district credentialing paperwork prior to assignment start

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to an intensive preschool classroom
  • Employ assessment and intervention strategies tailored for young learners
  • Collaborate proactively with teachers, aides, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and document student improvement
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet a range of developmental and communication needs
