Step into a role supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic elementary school setting. You’ll focus on a PreK caseload, offering direct support and intervention to students, including those who are non-verbal and in need of creative, adaptive therapy approaches.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLP License
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF candidates welcome
- Prior experience with early childhood or PreK populations preferred
- Knowledge and skill in supporting non-verbal students is highly desired
- Must complete district credentialing and contractor packet before starting
- Strong communication abilities and a passion for collaborative work in school teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to a PreK caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to serve students with varying abilities, including non-verbal needs
- Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide progress monitoring and maintain thorough documentation
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration for holistic student success
- Remain onsite at a single assigned school location for a consistent weekly schedule
This assignment will begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year, offering reliable full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) within one school. You will have the opportunity to work directly with dedicated educators and make a tangible impact in the lives of young children.
