Speech Language Pathologist in Augusta, GA
Make an impact supporting elementary students for the 2026/2027 school year as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant school environment located near Augusta, GA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic caseload, providing essential speech and language services within the school setting.
As an onsite SLP, you'll work closely with students, educators, and families to facilitate communication development, conduct assessments, implement individualized therapy plans, and ensure compliance with district and state requirements. Virtual service delivery may be considered for the right candidate if an onsite SLPA is available.
Preferred candidates excel at collaborating with school teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and fostering positive relationships with students and staff alike.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Georgia Speech Language Pathologist license or educator certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) highly preferred
- Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-age populations, is an asset
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
- Available to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Dedication to supporting diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to elementary students onsite
- Complete evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document activities in compliance with district protocols and professional standards
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate actively in team meetings and IEP processes
