Elementary High School School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Auburndale, Florida

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders and AAC devices
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively across elementary, middle, and high school levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills using standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy, both individual and group, tailored to student needs across grade levels
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and comply with all regulations and policies
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff, offering guidance on speech/language interventions and strategies
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning atmosphere to help every student reach their full potential
