Your specialized skills in speech-language pathology, especially within educational settings, will be essential in serving a full elementary caseload. The position runs from ASAP through May 28, 2027, with standard school hours totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid SLP - CCC credential
- Previous experience serving in a school-based speech-language pathology role (elementary experience a plus)
- Current SLP state licensure
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff
- Commitment to maintaining accurate records and delivering timely evaluations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain confidential records
- Offer direct and consultative services, adapting communication methods to meet individual learning needs
