Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a highly specialized school program serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This onsite role offers a unique opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful impact in a setting that has been without speech services for several years.
- Location: (Lake Erie region – Grand River Valley wine country)
- Schedule: Flexible Full-Time (approx. 6-hour days, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Setting: Specialized Charter School (K–12) | Onsite Only
Position Highlights
- Small, manageable caseload: ~25–30 students
- Total school population: ~30 students (may grow to 45)
- 1:2 staff-to-student ratio – exceptional support in the classroom
- Flexible schedule – structured 6-hour days
- Open to travelers (strongly encouraged to apply!)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services
- Collaborate closely with OT and classroom staff
- Co-treat sessions and lead social/pragmatic language groups
- Support communication development across functional environments
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Ohio SLP license (or ability to obtain)
- CCCs preferred, but strong candidates will be considered
- AAC experience is a plus
- Medicaid billing experience is highly preferred
