You’ll enjoy a diverse caseload of 40-50 students, all currently in grades Pre-K through 5th, providing an engaging range of experiences while allowing you to make a real difference in early academic and social development. The role is full-time, with 19.38 hours dedicated to direct therapy services and a total of 28.38 hours per week when accounting for both direct and indirect services including planning, paperwork, and collaboration.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by ASHA
- Active or eligible North Carolina SLP licensure
- Experience in pediatric/educational settings preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload of 40-50 students
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
- Comfortable adapting to a range of student needs in Pre-K through 5th grade
In this role, you will:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with educators and parents, and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Support students’ functional communication within classroom settings
