What you’ll bring:
- Active credentials with the State of Colorado as a Special Education teacher
- Demonstrated understanding of general Special Education Teacher responsibilities
- Experience working with K-12 students in either a self-contained or resource classroom environment
- Proven IEP writing and implementation skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and growth mindset
What you’ll do:
- Manage a diverse K-12 caseload, adapting instruction to individual student needs
- Conduct assessments and develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal student outcomes
- Create supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where students can succeed
- Provide direct services and instructional support as outlined in students’ IEPs
