Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA required
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-4th grade) preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to various school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to K-4 students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with general education and special education staff
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to monitor progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, documentation, and parent communications as required
- Travel between elementary buildings as needed within the assignment
- Maintain thorough, up-to-date records in compliance with district and state guidelines
